Commercial Growth Firm
Your firm grows on relationships the founder already has. It stalls when the network runs out.
Most professional services firms don't have a sales problem. Revenue tracks one thing — who the principal knows personally. When that list stops growing, the pipeline stops with it. We figure out exactly what's constraining growth, and then build the relationships that remove the constraint — with a guarantee.
The firms we work with share a pattern.
Revenue is strong but concentrated. It comes from a short list of relationships the founder built personally — repeat clients, referral partners, a legacy contract or two.
No one in the firm is responsible for finding the next client. There is no function, no process, and no pipeline that operates independently of the principal's own network.
The firm grew anyway — headcount is up, delivery capacity expanded. But the pipeline didn't grow with it. The same relationships now have to feed a larger operation on the same base of demand.
This isn't a problem a sales hire solves. It isn't a problem a marketing agency solves.
It's solved by diagnosing where the constraint actually sits — then building relationships with decision-makers who should know the firm but don't yet. Systematically. One at a time.
Different verticals. Same constraint.
The specifics differ — the buyer dynamics, the signal sources, the procurement cycle. The underlying pattern does not.
Before anything is built, the market is mapped and the constraint is diagnosed.
Every engagement begins with a Commercial Assessment — a paid diagnostic that the firm keeps regardless of what happens next.
The Assessment answers three questions:
The output is a written report with a market map, constraint analysis, scope recommendation, guaranteed relationship count, and a fee sized to the engagement.
The Assessment costs $2,500 and is credited in full toward any engagement that follows.
If the Assessment concludes that an engagement is not viable, the fee covers the consulting work and nothing further is proposed.
A defined number of relationships. A fixed window. A performance guarantee.
If the Commercial Assessment confirms viability, we scope a guaranteed number of validated stakeholder relationships — delivered within a fixed window, backed by a proportional refund guarantee.
We set the targeting, control the messaging, and own the delivery. The fee reflects the value the relationships represent to the firm — not hours worked.
Performance guarantee. Proportional refund.
Every engagement carries a guaranteed number of validated stakeholder relationships. If we deliver fewer than guaranteed, the refund is automatic and proportional.
| Scenario | Delivered | Refund |
|---|---|---|
| Overdelivered | 110 of 90 | $0 |
| Target met | 90 of 90 | $0 |
| Underdelivered | 72 of 90 | 20% |
| Significantly under | 45 of 90 | 50% |
Illustrative. Guarantee count and fee are scoped per engagement.
The guarantee covers the full engagement fee — consulting and execution. We don't separate the two because we don't separate the accountability.
50% to begin. 50% after the first half of guaranteed relationships are delivered. The full fee is never at risk before progress is visible.
We run a small number of active engagements at any one time, each against isolated infrastructure. That's what makes the guarantee credible — capacity we can't isolate is capacity we don't sell.
Project-based. Value-priced.
Engagements are scoped by the number of guaranteed relationships. The fee reflects what those relationships are worth to the firm — which is why two firms at the same scope can be priced differently.
Every tier includes the full consulting layer: Assessment report, closing report, strategic recommendations, and the 14-day Q&A window.
No subscription. No setup fee. No charge for overdelivery.
A validated stakeholder relationship is a decision-maker in the firm's target market who has engaged in a substantive conversation and agreed to a defined next step. Not an email open. Not an auto-reply. Not a name on a list.
Commercial Assessment
The Commercial Assessment is the consulting foundation for everything that follows. $2,500 — credited in full toward any engagement.
Three questions answered in a written report:
1. Who is your addressable market?
2. What is actually constraining your growth?
3. Can we guarantee an outcome — and at what scope and fee?
If the answer to the third question is no, you keep the report and nothing further is proposed.
